DESCRIPTION
Collecting past due accounts is the most difficult and stressful phase of the corporate business cycle. These lost revenues can be devastating, even to the most successful business. The Art of Collections is a new approach to aggressively settling past due accounts while building customer loyalty. Having fun collecting is one of the unique elements that separates this workshop from the rest.

OBJECTIVES
This workshop will teach collections representatives the delicate communications skills that will facilitate aggressively settling past due accounts while building customer loyalty. Learning to deal with difficult people who resist meeting their obligations is an important element in this workshop. By developing new attitudes and new collections presentations and emphasizing the use of silence, this approach will teach your collections specialists to settle past due accounts faster, more successfully and with less stress.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
All collections and accounting personnel and their managers.

CLASS SIZE AND LENGTH
For maximum results and personal attention, class size can accommodate 10 to 50 participants. Program length ranges from one-half day to three days. The recommended program will reflect your goals and the number of participants. Half days are 3.5 hours with a 15-minute break; full days are seven hours with two 15-minute breaks.

METHODS
Teaching methods will depend on the class size, length and objectives, and will include many of the following proven techniques: interactive presentations, role-playing, specific break-out exercise sessions, video tape and/or audio tape clips, Power Point illustrations, video and audio self-observation and analysis, and workbooks. Whenever possible, on-the-job practice, observation and coaching will be included.
